We worked with Jaguar Land Rover to create an entertaining and educational digital experience for children visiting JLR showrooms. A.H.A. Design were commissioned to design the characters and environments as well as contribute to the art direction of the game.
Children who accompany their parents to JLR retail environments can often be disregarded during the purchase journey, which can lead to an unenjoyable overall experience. To combat this, a parallel experience has been created for the child, which will educate them on JLR products through the use of animal metaphors.
The experience is designed to educate users aged 5-12 about the unique design features of JLR vehicles. To help convey the attributes of the JLR brand, 8 animals known for their power, grace and speed were selected to take the child on a digital scavenger hunt. Although many of the animals that were chosen are renowned for their high-end performance, we kept the style of the characters soft and dreamlike, employing pastel colour and gradients so that they wouldn’t appear intimidating or overbearing to a younger audience.
